I love Tynemouth, it’s such a lovely town and the beach is perfect for wedding photos… So shooting Lisa & Simon’s big day at The Grand Hotel, just a stones throw away from Longsands Beach was such a pleasure. However what really made this wedding a joy to be part of was the people, Lisa & Simon, their friends and family and everyone involved were just so unbelievably lovely! I felt completely at home with them and I always knew this would be a special occasion after spending time with this fantastic couple on their pre-wedding shoot. They are fun, relaxed and so easy to get along with, and we worked together brilliantly which lead to some amazing moments captured.
The wedding itself took place at St Bartholomew’s Church before we move to The Grand Hotel, and the couple were lit beautifully by the sun coming through the windows throughout, it was a romantic and moving ceremony in what is a beautiful church.
