A dutch garden party | Marijke & Geert – Geluksfeest 2.0.
This is a more personal collection of images from me as Marijke & Geert are my inlaws and Geluskfeest 2.0 was a big celebration bringing family and friends together for an epic garden party in Holland. The original Geluksfeest (happiness & luck party) celebrated their marriage and birth of my brother in law Tom, so it had big shoes to fill.
Great weather, food, company, beer, wine, live music and a camp fire – I wasn’t around for Geluksfeest 1.0 but I think it would have had to be one hell of a party to beat 2.0!
To top it all off once I’d put the camera down I got up and sang with the band, which is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time but never really had the courage… my rendition of ‘Losing my religion’ a high point of the night, my attempt at ‘Californication’ by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers thankfully quickly forgotten (how does that song go again haha?).
