Newcastle wedding photographer.
Marie and Richard picked me to be their Newcastle wedding photographer and opted for an engagement shoot to help us get to know each other a bit more before the big day, and of course to help them feel more comfortable in front of the camera. I think it’s safe to say that although they were a little nervous to begin with they really eased in to it quickly and we had a fantastic time at the Willows in Ryton which is just 6 miles outside of Newcastle. It’s a total hidden gem and if I didn’t live just up the road from it I wouldn’t know it even existed.
As a wedding photographer I am used to shooting people who aren’t comfortable in front of the camera but the truth is if you have a natural and relaxed style there’s not really much for a couple to worry about. I think Marie and Richard cottoned on to this really quickly and just went with the flow, following what little instruction I gave perfectly and embracing the moment to create some lovely shots. They are getting married at Kirkley Hall near Ponteland which isn’t far from Newcastle and as their wedding photographer I am really excited about the big day, they are really easy to get along with, friendly and good fun… something tells me it’s going to be an epic wedding!
