Ellingham Hall wedding photographer
It’s great being an Ellingham Hall wedding photographer, earlier this year I was made a recommended supplier at the venue and as it’s one of the best around I was really happy to have been added to a very elite list of suppliers. What could top that? Well how about being invited along to shoot the wedding of a family member of the owners? Yep that would be about the only thing that could top it!
Helen grew up playing in the rooms and corridors before it become one of the top wedding venues around, giving this beautiful Christmas wedding an amazingly homely and personal feel… it was a real honour to have been there and trusted with the important responsibility of capturing such an important occasion.
I hadn’t met Helen and Kyle when they asked me to be their Ellingham Hall wedding photographer as they live in my old neck of the woods (Yorkshire) and so I wasn’t sure what to except when I met them, but wow what a great couple they are! I enjoyed their company so much and they made me feel like part of the wedding, it was a very relaxed atmosphere and it very much reflected their personalities, even the fire alarm going off part way through the ceremony (no evacuation required luckily) was met with laughter and just added to the chilled out feeling of the day. Oh and I forgot to mention how stunning Elligham Hall looked with the Xmas decorations and open fire… absolutely beautiful!!! Add to that a brass band playing festive tunes, mulled wine and personal items around the place it really made for a romantic and magical winter wedding.
Helen and Kyle met playing in a brass band so the choice of musical entertainment was perfect, and it also allowed us to have a little fun later on with the instruments for a more quirky shot. I could wax lyrical about this wedding, the fantastic couple, the amazing venue, the homely and intimate feel it had, but I think the best way to tell the story with the images of what was a very beautiful day in December filled with love and laughter, what a way to end the year!
