Woodhill Hall wedding
I’ve been dying to shoot a Woodhill Hall wedding far ages, sometimes when you think of how great something might be it fails to live up to expectation, but boy oh boy this wedding blew me away! Not just because the venue is AMAZING but because the one key component at this wedding, Kathryn and Alan, meant that they could have had their wedding in a car park and it would still have been unbelievably awesome! However it wasn’t in a car park, it was far away in the Northumberland countryside with the spring sunshine basking the occasion in it’s warm glow… just perfect!
Could Kathryn and Alan’s big day be the Woodhill Hall wedding of the year? I’d guess it’s probably one of the best ever! It’s hard to know where to start with how great their big day was, maybe with just how lovely they are? Yep that’s definitely the best place to start as when you find two perfectly matched people, both loving, kind and brilliant fun the wedding always follows suit… this one was no exception. From the bridal prep through to the emotional ceremony, the Beatles tribute act rocking the socks off the guests, some HILLARIOUS speeches – I’ll save Alan from mentioning anything from the best man’s speech as it was pretty graphic / extremely hilarious, Alan’s and his best man getting in the bath together (no water), Alan getting out of the bath and accidently leaning on the tap (lots of water) and soaking his best man, a great first dance and some serious moves being thrown by guests after, this was one unbelievably fun and brilliant wedding. Any chance we can do it all again next week guys?! Haha if only!
Awesome fun, awesome people, quite frankly an awesome wedding. Kathryn & Alan are perfect for each other and I’m incredibly thankful they picked me to photograph their wedding. Here’s to love, happiness and lots of laughter in their future together!
