Beth & Sarah – Same sex wedding at Beamish Hall

Beth & Sarah | Same sex wedding at Beamish Hall.

Beth and Sarah had their same sex wedding at Beamish Hall, a really lovely venue in County Durham, it just seemed to ‘fit’ them as a couple if that makes sense?  Looking back I couldn’t imagine them getting married anywhere else, it just worked so well.  They had the space and privacy their day needed to accommodate their super chilled and relaxed approach, but there was a real air of prettiness about things too… from the flowers to the awesome table settings, to… well everything!

It was such a pleasure to have got to know these two, they are just the most lovely people you could hope to meet, Beth even introducing me to a film called ‘My Neighbor Totoro’ which has gone on to be my little boy’s favourite film, and a great way for us to chill and bond when I’m having a rare day off during wedding season.  You don’t get that kind of approach from many people, where they just open up to you totally and the dynamic of being paid to do a job turns in to friendship and really feeling like you go to know someone, or in this case two amazing human beings during the course of being their photographer.

Yes this was a same sex wedding at Beamish Hall, but who gets married and what their gender is really doesn’t matter, we’re all humans and you know what?  Beth and Sarah are two of the absolute best you could ever hope to meet.  Their friends and family there on the day likewise, this was a magical day and a real highlight of my year!

Beth and Sarah, thank you for everything, you both deserve ALL the happiness in the world, and I think you’ll both get just that.
