Earlier this year I shot the wedding of Laura and Will at Lumley Castle, and not long after Sarah who’s Laura’s sister got in touch and said she’d love for me to shoot her wedding too… I of course was delighted to be asked, and I of course agreed to the request.
Sarah and Chris aren’t getting married until April next year so I wouldn’t usually do the pre-wedding shoot this early but Sarah had a location in mind that worked well at this time of year and I was more than happy to accommodate her idea. The location? Her Grandparents beautiful garden, a place that holds many memories for Sarah, one of falling the pond… but apart from that one I think the rest were all very happy memories!
It actually started raining quite heavily just after we started the shoot so we ran indoors to escape the downpour and I used the sun room overlooking the garden for a few editorial style shots as we waited for it to blow over… I’m actually glad it rained for those few minutes as it gave us the opportunity to try something a little different.
