I was super excited when Elaine and Mark asked me to shoot their Wylam Brewery wedding photography, not just because it’s a SUPER cool venue… I mean it’s a working brewery!!! No it wasn’t just that, in fact that was only a small part of it, the real reason I was so happy was that Elaine and Mark are just THE nicest, kindest and loveliest people you could hope to meet. You’d expect their day therefore to reflect this, that it would be a very happy, relaxed and fun celebration… and if you did then you’d be 100% right, their day was just fantastic. From the fun of bridal prep (The Superman by Black Lace being on the morning playlist!), to lots of emotion during the ceremony and speeches, HUGE hugs from guests so happy to see them married, and a pretty damn epic party to finish things off, I think these guys should write a book on how to have the perfect wedding!!!
Oh and I totally forgot to mention the styling of the venue… it looked superb!!! Elaine and Mark clearly have fantastic taste, if you’re going to decorate a cool live music venue and working brewery then this is the way to do it!
Elaine and Mark, what can I say? You are amazing people, so warm, kind and above all else THE absolute blueprint for what the perfect couple is, I couldn’t have asked for a nicer and more welcoming bride and groom to photograph!
