Sarah & Simon’s wedding at Newton Hall
Well I say wedding at Newton Hall but strictly speaking this was more of a party and celebration in the UK for these guys and their families, you see Sarah & Simon were married in Singapore earlier this year, however this felt very much like a wedding and a heck of a good one at that! You couldn’t ask to meet a nicer couple than Sarah & Simon, they are warm, kind, so friendly and incredibly welcoming, the whole day felt so intimate and like a huge celebration of family, friends and love. Sarah looked amazing and with 3 dresses throughout the day continued to dazzle from start to finish, and Simon looked super smart too, they are a great looking couple and very photogenic, so mix that with great weather and a beautiful venue and it’s a great combination to photograph!
It’s tradition at Chinese weddings for the groom to compete in parlour games prior to the ceremony (to prove his worth to his future in-laws) but as he’d already successfully completed these in Singapore it was only fair Sarah faced the challenges over here, which to her and the bridesmaids credit they passed with flying colours!
No wedding at Newton Hall is complete without a trip to the beach and we headed down there after the speeches for some gorgeous portraits, but the best was still to come… after the Ceilidh (they skipped a traditional first dance) we were treated to a wonderful sunset, and being the adventurous people they are indulged my idea of jumping down in to the cornfield behind the venue for an epic final shot.
Sarah & Simon you guys had an absolutely amazing wedding at Newton Hall (sorry not wedding, brilliant party!) and were complete and utter stars to work with, thank you for welcoming me in to your day with such warmth!
