I was so happy to be asked to shoot some Newcastle Newborn Photography for the Wilkin clan!!! They’re an amazing family, and it was only 2 weeks before these photos were taken that baby Jessica was born, and wow is she a cutie!!! There’s something very special about meeting a brand new little human being, all sleepy and new to this world.

If you follow my work you’ll know that the key, as always with my Newcastle Newborn Photography, is to just have loads of fun and take REAL images showing the amazing personalities of little people. It doesn’t matter if they are 2 weeks old or 12 years old, they still have their own unique ways, and capturing those little expressions, the tiny hands gripping mummy and daddy’s fingers, well it’s just such an amazing privilege to photograph this moment in time for Sarah & Ian to look back on and remember just who Jessica was at this stage in her development.
A HUGE thanks to Sarah, Ian and Jessica (oh and the cats who also made great models and weren’t shy about getting involved!) for inviting me in to their home for this shoot. It definitely won’t be the last time I see this awesome family either, as I’m shooting their wedding at the gorgeous Seaham Hall next year. It’ll be so lovely to share another special moment in time with them, and also see how much Jessica will have grown by then. I can’t wait, it’s going to be so good!
